全球球迷望穿秋水的四年一度的世界盃,終於在今年六月於俄羅斯揭幕。然而隨著足球熱潮掀起,足球賭博問題也隨之衍生,為了提高市民的防賭意識,避免沉迷賭博,平和基金、民政事務局聯同香港警務處聯合舉辦「酒吧外展宣傳活動」,於6月14日及23日到訪港島及九龍熱門酒吧區,與市民一起迎接世界盃賽事,同時宣揚抗賭信息。
一連兩晚主辦單位邀請博彩及獎券事務委員會、中西區、灣仔及油尖旺區撲滅罪行委員會代表,灣仔區區議員及油尖旺區議員出席活動,與警方到中環蘭桂坊、灣仔駱克道、尖沙咀諾士佛臺及旺角通菜街的酒吧,向顧客派發抗賭單張和紀念品。平和基金諮詢委員會主席葉振都表示,不少市民喜歡到酒吧欣賞球賽,因為享受現場的熱鬧氣氛,所以特地到酒吧進行宣傳,希望可以將『睇波不賭波』的信息帶給球迷。到場嘉賓與酒吧顧客積極互動,酒吧負責人更將宣傳抗賭的物品放於店內當眼處協助宣傳,葉振都認為在大家的合力支持下,活動的成效顯著。
《警訊》堅哥即場演抗賭迷你劇
這次「酒吧外展宣傳活動」最特別之處是邀得《警訊》御用演員堅哥及「警訊之花」馬溱禧分別於6月14日及23日晚上演出迷你劇,以上下兩集輕鬆的劇情,呼籲市民不要沉迷賭博及進行非法賭博。而為了針對年輕的目標群眾,平和基金更在Facebook直播抗賭迷你劇,將不賭的信息延伸至網上,讓青少年也能欣賞兩人的演出,接收抗賭信息。
平和基金諮詢委員會主席葉振都表示,平和基金和民政事務局在今年3月至9月期間,聯合主辦全港大型抗賭推廣活動「睇波不賭波推廣計劃」,在全港及地區層面舉辦多場活動及宣傳項目,亦會加強在網上的宣傳力度,以提高公眾對賭博失調的認知和宣傳不迷賭的信息。計劃內容包括一連串地區及全港性活動,如流動宣傳車、「球‧藝嘉年華」、「『足』出世界佳績」及足球比賽等,讓廣大市民免費參與。
